Attention Senior Parents - It's Senior Poster Time!
Since the first year of our event, each student in our graduating class has had a Senior Poster displayed of them at JAM! Each senior's family is asked to compile photos and create something fun for your grad. These posters are displayed at JAM in the senior hall. This tradition is enjoyed not only by the graduates but by all who attend the JAM Open House on Prom night. We would love to have 100% participation so that all our seniors are featured!
Poster Guidelines:
- Posters can be "cut and paste" on poster board
(not foam board), or created on Costco, Shutterfly or other photo
site.
- All posters need to be approximately 22"x28". **If your poster is within an inch or two of
this size, it is OK.
- Posters all need to be vertically-oriented as we
are tight on space.
- All posters (regardless of type) need to be laminated
per the fire marshal. This can be done at any Fedex-Kinkos, Staples, or other
office supply store. We cannot hang any poster that is not laminated.
- Please write your students first and last name on the
back of their poster.
- When adding items to your poster, please keep in mind that this is a school event, so all items on the poster must follow school rules. Please, no vulgarity, violence (this includes any type of weapon), cursing, gang signs, or anything else inappropriate for displaying at school. Any posters in violation of this will be subject to removal by the administration and/or JAM committee.
- Posters can be turned into the main office front desk
any time up until the Thursday before Prom (April 22, 2020). We take time
to alphabetize and pre-tape the posters beforehand, so the sooner you get them
to us, the better. We cannot guarantee that the posters received after the
deadline will be hung up the night of JAM.
- Please email Julie Fuller with any additional questions: rockymtnfuller@gmail.com or abogoger@gmail.com. Thank you!
Please, PLEASE follow these guidelines exactly. Sadly, we have had to remove posters on the day of JAM when the Fire Marshal deemed them a fire hazard. Don't risk your senior's poster being taken down!
Due Date: Turn in your Senior Poster to the front office by April 25th!
Please remind students that they are only allowed to take their own poster home after JAM.
